En sus dos versiones anteriores ARFE 06 y ARFE 07, se busco una aproximacion del publico a las practicas artisticas realizadas por mujeres del sur de Colombia, especificamente en la ciudad de Pasto en el 2006 y en el departamento de Nariño en el 2007.
en el 2006 se trabajo directamente en la Ciudad de Pasto, contando con artistas autodidactas y profesionales, con quienes se conformo una exposicion que buscaba de cierta manera aproximarnos a la estetica que se da en la expresion artistica realizada por las artistas del sur de Colombia.
La exposicion se realizo entre los dias Marzo 6-24 de 2006 en el CENTRO CULTURAL PALATINO de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Nariño y participaron 21 artistas destacadas de la region, ellas son:
Marta Liz Marinez, Maria Victoria Enriquez, Johana Martinez, Lorena Coka Guerrero, Adriana Torres,Carolina Farinango, Ana Lucia Tumal,Dayra Benavidez, Natalia Beltran, Ginna Morales, Carolina Marmol, elizabeth Bravo, Constaza Ortiz, Jenny Montero, Pilar Figueroa, Crisina Arturo, Natalhy Mena, Carolina Ponce, Maria Rosero, Amparo Obando y Diana Cano.
En el 2007 se realizo un proceso curatorial en diferentes municipios del departamento de Nariño, es decir se penso en la region como un espacio marcado por la geografia propia que denota selva, sierra y costa.

Esta Segunda version se realizo del 8 al 23 de marzo del 2007, tambien en las instalaciones del CENTRO CULTURAL PALATINO.
En esta ocasion participaron 47 artitas del departamento de Nariño, Incluyendoa la Maestra Alicia VItery, radicada actualmente en Panama.
